I just ordered a mycosphere from north spore for outdoor mushroom growing, does anyone have one and what do you guys fill the bed with? I’ve been growing sacred mushrooms for years out of bags and tubs so this is my first plunge into outdoor edible mushrooms

Dominick P Amazing, i'd be curious to see how the oysters grow from a horizontal growing environment, normally they don't prefer that. The wine caps are going to love it tho!

Jasper Degenaars we have had a crazy heat wave the last week in the northeast
I ended up getting a couple of flushes of pink oysters blue oysters and Italian oysters. I will start earlier in the spring next summer since the heat can be a real kick in the pants getting these things going. Also got some great wine caps. Everything went well sautéed with garlic and olive oil. Overall happy with the product
Dominick P Wine caps are great because they can come back year after year as long as you feed them more substrate!
