Hi, I'm new at foraging but excited that I may have found golden chanterelles on the ground near an oak tree. Just not sure b/c the false gills/ridges aren't as pronounced as the ones I see in my guidebooks. Also, I tried the spore print but it didn't produce one. Thanks for any guidance.
