My name is Ray. I have grown mushrooms off and on for quite a few years. I really enjoy learning and sharing my understanding. I am in Colorado, about 10,000' altitude. I have been here about 25 years now and didn't grow many mushrooms before I came up here. I do feel that the altitude seems to contribute to potency.
Any body else growing at an altitude?
We're growing at about 1600m at lake Atitlan, it definitely causes some challenges, mostly because Fungi do like oxygen a lot :) I've never heard of altitude affection potency but would be fun to hear more about that!
