My name is Ray. I have grown mushrooms off and on for quite a few years. I really enjoy learning and sharing my understanding. I am in Colorado, about 10,000' altitude. I have been here about 25 years now and didn't grow many mushrooms before I came up here. I do feel that the altitude seems to contribute to potency.

Hi Ya, We're Jim and Suz from Illinois USA. Our interest for now is learning what we can about growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. I'm a Master Gardener in our community and would love to share new discoveries with friends and neighbors. I did have some success last year growing Wine Cap mushrooms in the backyard. Also for the 1st time we foraged Morel mushrooms in a nearby woods. That started the ball rolling for us.

Now we've set up our indoor shrooms tent and started our grow recently. We're looking forward to learning what we can from this group and sharing our adventures. Our thought is.....Why try to reinvent the wheel when you can learn from others. Enjoy you day.

My boyfriend (who is Ecuadorian) and me are really intereted in starting to grow our own sacred mushrooms. I found your academy and it looks amazing!

I have already cultivated mushrooms for ritual use in our spiritual circle (Theomellon.com). Mushrooms are amazing organisms with a fascinating history and scientific background. They brought me back from a dark place and rejuvenated me in so many impressive ways. Hi I'm Brandon I'm 43 years old this is my very first grow and of course by accident they said I started with a really hard one to do for a beginner which is albino penis envy I got it through the bag phase I got it in the box mixed with substrate it's starting to get white on it on the top and splotches very small very slow but I didn't check on it for 2 days now there's this like little stick looking thing up I don't know what it is it don't look like a pen nothing I've seen but maybe y'all can help it's a blurred thing cuz I don't want air going to it but if anybody can help me and let me know if it's runt or I have to take another picture

Hello there! I'm new to this platform and I'm a undergraduate student in chemistry. I am doing my thesis regarding mushrooms. First I have started wring a literature review about "different methods of mushroom extractions". I want to know where can I find suitable hot water extraction (HWE) set up by using laboratory glassware & apparatuses. I have read many scientific papers, watched videos but I couldn't find any proper scientific set up/image/protocol. It would be a great help if you can assist me. If anyone has done HWE before and you have images of your set up please share it with me. Thank you! 😇
