Join Dr. Ros Watts to explore how psychedelics can strengthen ‘connectedness to self, others and world’, and consider why we need structures and containers that nurture connectedness long-term.
We will look at the ACER (Accept, Connect, Embody, Restore) model of psychedelic integration, why it was started, the types of people who are joining, the vision for the future, and the key role of the Nature Codes in everything we do.
Dr Rosalind Watts is a clinical psychologist and the founder of ACER Integration. She has been named as one of the 50 Most Influential People in Psychedelics as well as one of the top Top 16 Women Shaping the Future of Psychedelics.
As the former clinical lead on the Psilocybin for Depression trial at Imperial College London, Dr Watts developed the ACE model of psychedelic assisted therapy ‘Accept, Connect, Embody’ and led a clinical team guiding participants through that process. Her qualitative research with trial participants led to the development of the Watts Connectedness Scale, a psychometric tool measuring Connectedness to Self, Others, and World. Through all her work, Rosalind’s main learning has been that safe and effective use of psychedelics requires substantial integration support. She has launched a global online integration community, ‘Accept, Connect, Embody, Restore’ (ACER) which takes a collective approach to personal growth, and encourages re-alignment to the wisdom of nature.
