In this presentation, we explore the potential of sacred mushrooms as indigenous alternative therapies for managing ADHD (Attention-Deficit/
Mycelium functions similarly to neural networks in the human brain, facilitating communication and nutrient exchange among organisms in the natural world. Drawing parallels between mycelium and neurological pathways, we delve into the fascinating realm of neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to reorganize and form new neural connections in response to learning, experience, or injury. Studies suggest that certain compounds found in mushrooms exhibit neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, which could contribute to managing ADHD symptoms effectively.
These insights pave the way for exploring how mushrooms, through methods like microdosing, may offer therapeutic support by enhancing focus, reducing impulsivity, and promoting overall cognitive clarity. This presentation invites participants to explore pathways toward holistic well-being and neurocognitive enhancement through the lens of fungal intelligence and its therapeutic potential.
