Ryath Fujita Beauchene is a Californian mycological educator and the Vice President of the Sonoma County Mycological Association. Ryath has been a mushroom forager, cultivator, and researcher for sixteen years and teaches about fungal ecology, ethnomycology, mushroom identification & cultivation, fungalism, and the functional mushroom industry. He is a co-steward of both Moon Fruit Mushroom Farm and Symbiiotica as well as an estate manager and horticulturist with particular interests in adaptogens, cooking, semantics, symbiosis and how ecosystem health includes human health. Ryath also makes custom formulations for private clients with herbs and mushrooms, and it is Ryath’s hope that by showing people the valuable potency of natural medicines we may become more devoted and reciprocal in our relationships to our planet’s diverse ecologies and peoples.
